CHAPTER 9

Nowadays, Mr Chawla is more concerned with Sampath because now he is known with the  'The Special Power' and so Mr Chawla is least concerned with Pinky and tries to ignore her. Pinky feels annoyed with this behavior of her father and the rules and regulation of her father. Mr Chawla doesn't even allows Pinky to go for her computer classes and has told her to wear simple clothes while going in the bazaar. Then Ammaji suggests Pinky to go and watch a movie. She and Ammaji goes for a movie and they see a long ques so they decides to eat an ice cream first then they will watch a movie. Pinky sees they cinema monkey and feels disgrace so she starts to cry and Ammaji tries to stops her from crying but she fails.

CHAPTER 8

In Chapter 8 Mr Chawla realizes that Sampath would make his family rich. So, all of them settled down with forever lasting cup of milky tea and decided way in which they could get a better place for Sampath. Eventually, they decided to tie a cot to the bottom of the tree. Sampath decided to get down and sleep there after all the tree was quite hard and rough while the cot was quite comfortable. Finally he had to come down and sleep just above the grass. 

Next was time for food. Sampath would quietly sit while Pinky would rush up and down the tree to fulfill his orders unsuccessfully. The Dal and the chapatis keep falling down and spilling over. Pinky tries to reach without spilling it.

Because of Kulfi, Sampath started to grew healthier and healthier.

CHAPTER 7

In chapter 7 Mr Chawla comes to know about the absence of Sampath and everyone in the village starts to gather around and gossip to each other in a bad sense.

There are many places where the residents are quiet and don't talk so often but Shahkot was the opposite with people always visiting friends and family and chatting.Mr. Chawla managed to find that there was a man who sat on a tree and didn't come down nor answer anyone's questions.

As soon as he reached near the tree he tries to talk to Sampath but he doesn't speak a word to reply to Mr Chawla.

After some time, the doctor descended from the tree and declared Sampath as being mad. Mr. Chawla and the family went to many places for a cure but each time came back disappointed.

Later, he thought of Kulfi that she was the same as Sampath is now and so he was forced to get married to Kulfi because of the dowry which was a lot. Later he started to fell in love with her because of her beauty.

Then, he recognized one of the devotees whose letter he had once read when he worked in the post office. Sampath questioned him about what he had written in the letter and this shocked the devotee. He did the same with another and brightened up his face upon seeing his success.
Now Sampath was known to the world.

CHAPTER 6

When Mr Chawla went out with his family for attending the marriage, they left Sampath alone in the house so that he doesn't embarrass his family members.

Sampath took the advantages of his time and left his home. He went to the main bazaar and sat on the bus and went away for ever. The bus roared through the road that took him away from Shahkot and filled the air with black smoke. He thought of snakes and insects leaving dirt on the ground and filling the air with dust. However, it didn't matter anymore because the bus station and the people pass by quickly.

An old crone moved to sit closer to him and her many canisters forced Sampath to lean right out of the window and hang between life and death. She started her talk with Sampath and poked him with her voice. She flooded Sampath's mind with questions. 

He finally saw a huge guava tree and thought that this is what he wanted. he stepped out of the bus and went near it. He climb the top and decided to stay there for ever.

CHAPTER 5

Mr DPS daughter's wedding arrived soon and all the people in the post office were at work. Mr Gupta and Miss Jyotsana was very excited for the wedding. On the other hand, Sampath had a work to fill Sherbet in the glasses and wash it after use. He was feeling bored while doing this job.

Later he decided to look around the layout of the house and he entered a room and he saw something at the end of the corridor and he found out that there were a lot of things of the cousin sisters and aunties such as dresses, perfume and jeweleries. Different types of perfumes such as rose water etc.

Mr DPS found out that Sampath was in the room and touching his private things so he angrily shouted at him and fired him. Sampath didn't feel anything as he did not enjoy his job.

At last when he reached home he got scolded by his family and later Kulfi offered him with some food and so he shouted that he doesn't want food he wants freedom.

CHAPTER 4

The post office was painted yellow and Sampath cycled to it for work everyday and behind him sat Pinky who only attract men towards her. He passes through a shortcut in the main bazaar through the hospital ground and under the barbed-wire fence. The post office stood right in the middle of Shahkot. Pinky was obsessed  with the riding of Sampath and she stopped him and scolded him for the riding so later on she decided to travel by bus. the both were waiting for the bus and meanwhile Sampath drank ice cold water.

As soon as the bus arrived they saw that it was crowed or full. So for her protection Pinky took her hair pin out and started to poke to those people who took alot of space or misbehaved. 

The post office was dark and grimy. Paper clips and forms were laying on the dirty ground. Towers of ancient and dusty letters stacked up into the darkness above.

Mr Gupta who was the head of Sampath was telling everyone to prepare for the Boss daughter's wedding. Mr Gupta and Miss Jyotsana always firted with each other.

Mrs. Jyotsna also share her embarrassing experience with one the monkeys to everyone and to Mr Gupta also. Then, she talks about the tailor and his wrongs measurements and him calling her aunty.

While Mr. Gupta shares nothing but quietly observes them. Then, he tells her that she shouldn't wear green as it doesn't suit her. They continue on pulling each others legs and cracking jokes. Then, they move on to talk about the wedding of the head of the post office that was going to be held at the Badshah Gardens. At that time the office should have been working on the marriage as it was the customary office protocol but it wasn't the case this time.

Sampath tried hard for a while to do the work properly but in vain. He mixes up all the work and get confused. Upon noticing that Mr D.P.S. was gone to check on the jewelers and Mr Gupta and Mrs. Jyotsna's teasing each other, he begins to take a look at the letters and read them.

By evening Sampath realizes that he hadn't done any of the work that he was supposed to do. He was sent home with a warning that bad consequences would follow. Sampath was unable to sleep last night and the night before and maybe not even this night.

CHAPTER-2

20 years later, Sampath was 20 and his leg were like spiders and he was extremely thin. One night he was sleeping with his family.There was him, his grandmother-Ammaji, his mother-Kulfi, his father Mr. Chawla and his little sister Pinky. They all shared one bedroom with ceiling fan. Sampath couldn't sleep at night because of his family snoring and on top of that the fan was also making lots of noise. He was irritated with all there sound which was growing gigantically. To avoid all these horrible snoring sound he went near the window and started to sing song and think about his princess of his eventual life. Thus, he was still not feeling asleep. In the morning he saw splendid sun rise and when Ammaji woke up she saw Sampath's eyes which was tired and was as red as a tomato. His grandmother pinched his cheek with tender reproach.

 In my opinion I think that Sampath's family less-cared about his son. Even though, they loved him but while sleeping they become ignorant. Not caring about anyone and snoring to the maximum volume which ruined Sampath's sleep.
